on the idol based competitions..
mainly focusing on the channel u "super___" series..

Superhost

Look here..there are 4 different super series..
What is the point...
20 contestants...
only 20% are qualifed to be in the finals..
The rests are all really terok..
We are not USA or even freakin Malaysia..
Singapore...
Population of singapore is 4 million plus..
we don have much talent believe me...
as in talent in singing..
look at singapore idols for goodness's sakes..
only 1 or 2 can sing..
the others are there not because of their singing capabilities but..
because they are cute or pretty,,
laymans term...
candy eyes to the girls or the boys..
come to think of it..
none of the female were really that beutiful..
thats not the point here right?
i'm straying already..
ok...
tooooo many of these idol based competitions...
will not boost the veiwers ratings..
based on the survey that we did..
it will turn them off..
thus, losing its significance..
it is no longer a special competition..

Rejected?
Join Superhost,
Cant host?,
Form a band and join Superband,
Cant perform also?
Maybe do stupid stuffs like david lim..
maybe that will get you recognised..
Where is the significance of the competitions?

Qamarul: So why exactly do you watch these shows if you say it is not nice?
Respondant: I watch to humour myself. They can really be a joke sometimes..

The judges,
1)What do you have in ur CV that make u think u can judge others if they sound bad or good?
2)Don't immitate the American Idol judges..they are of different class
3)Please please have your own stle...
To the contestants,
if you're contesting in the finals of any idol based competitions,
please please give your best,
Don't do it because of popularity,
Do it because you want it..
cos really from the viewer's eyes..
we know if you really want it or not
I know what it feels like to be popular..

but it will die out eventually..
The flipside of being popular?

I emceed dozens of events for NYP,
More prominently the orientation for freshmen,
They wanna take picture with you,
They wanna be your friend,
They invite you to their parties,
They crowd around you in the party,
They think you're the heartbeat of the party,
But ONE mistake,
