Ok this might sound gay....
I came back from Dubai, United Arab Emirates after spending 2 years of my wonderful life there...
I was frantically looking for a seconary school to join...
I went to...
1-Dunearn
2-Yusof Ishak
3-Assumption
4-Bukit View
5-Teck Whye
6-Choa Chu Kang
I was rejected because either theres no vacancy...
Or they hated me..
Well maybe...
Theres no vacancy la...
My last choice was Bukit Batok Sec Sch....
Tht after knowing tht the Principal than Mr Suparman was my great-grandma nye nephew...
We went for the interview on monday..
And wala i got into tht school...
The motto of the school was
BE OUR BEST...
i hated tht phrase when i was in tht school..
But after i left for poly..
i secretly, gayishly held tht motto in my heart..
And yes it has helped me wonders so far..
Be Our Best..
Tht is what i gave when i do anything since than...
Eeeeee so gay sia...
shut up...
Dubai was the best place to live in...
The 2 years there opened my eyes...
really wide...
If not...
I think i'm some MAT playing socccer everyday at the void deck..
cos i didnt realise how important education was...
until i saw how smart i could be in dubai..
i mean the people(students) there was like super dumb...
I sold my leftover slice of pizza the nxt day to them fer 10 dirhams(S$5)
-__- dumb?
Upon reaching there, my dad got me into Chouifat or is it Chouifeat Internation School...
The school there was havoc i tell ya...
Havoc!
We could play and jump frm table to table, and the teacher wouldnt bother..
and yes..
In States..if u play basketball or Football, they find u cool..
But in Dubai, If u play soccer for the school team, They WORSHIP you..
Everone know i'm like the star if i was on the field...yup...
ahhahahah
MAn those were the days when suddenly ppl will treat u for lunch,
Girls will hang out at my table during lunch and talk nonsense..
Yes..i'm NOT kidding...
They practically throw themself at you!
I later shifted to Sharjah American Internation School when i got to grade 7..
The place there was even more cool...
1-Girls there are more gorgeous
2-There are more Americans than Arabs
3-Girls there are superbly gorgeous
i said tht twice didnt i?
Homework was barely minimal...
School was so relaxed...
everything was great..seriously!!!
I helped SAIS win the Dubai National soccer tournament...
and i'll never forget denise...
shes lebanese..frm lebanon..
she is sooooo sweet
sooooooooo cute...
She was in the softball team..and yeah we trained at the same time...
We exchanged smile and wohoooo we started dating..
The bad side of Dubai is tht the public transport was really bad..
may places was inaccessible..
The only way to travel is via taxi or private car...
so tht explainsy denise had her own driver..
Her parents bought her a Pajero and a driver so he'll drive her ard..
and yeah...i got a free ride too!!!
we broke up when i had to move back to singapore...
=(
Did i mention about the house?
they were as big as YOUR neighbourhood shopping malls
YES!!!!
really....
and when they eat..they REALLY EAT!
had like half of a lamb fer dinner man!
and my friend had a games room twice the size of my entire apartment...
TWICE...
My house?
It was a huge bungalow..
Parked right across the Sharjah Beach..
Yes ppl ...
THE BEACH...
I thanked my dad this morning fer working hard to give us a priceless experience in Duba/Sharjah..
It opened my eyes...
It filled my brain and heart with the motivation to work hard..
I long for a penthouse of my own..
A Mercedes CLK 500..
A fat paychack..
A loving wife..
A beautiful Family...
A successful Manchester United..
yup...
My dad has layed the path fer me...
Its up to me to follow it...
Yup..
He will want me to take over the company when hes retired..
I will have to fill in a huge shoe of a small sized man...
Thank you dad...
Thank you mom...
I love you guys loads...
For always encouraging and supporting in whatever I do..
Time for me to repay you by doing the right thing...
I miss you girl...
Did u even notice?
U didnt?
Oh...
cos u got another guy now?
=)
